Bobby and Meshalle Tadlock, of Wesson, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Priscilla Danielle Tadlock to Joshua Kevin Smith.

He is the son of Mr. Kevin Smith, of Brookhaven, and the late Christy Smith.

She is the granddaughter of Robert and Louise Doherty, of Hazelhurst, and Bob and Jane Tadlock, of Homewood.

He is the grandson of Danny and Peggy Britt, of Wesson, Ramona Smith, of Brookhaven, and Mike Smith, of College Town, Texas.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Wesson High School, a 2012 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College with an Associate of Arts degree, a 2014 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s of Psychology degree and a 2016 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Master’s in Counselor Education with a concentration in school counseling. She will be employed as a seventh grade counselor for Southaven Middle School in the fall.

The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Loyd Star High School, a 2011 graduate of Co-Lin Community College and a 2014 graduate of MSU with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology with a concentration in sports pedagogy degree. He is employed with Horn Lake High School as an assistant football coach and teacher.

The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2016 at Ole Capitol Inn in Jackson. A reception will follow.
