Funeral services for Aylene Watts Burt are Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. Michael Burt will officiate.

Visitation is at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Burt, 91, died Friday, June 24, 2016, in McDonough, Georgia. She was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Brookhaven to Carey and Nancy Smith Watts.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hollis Ira Burt; sisters, Carolyn Lee and Helen Watts; and brother, Carey Lee Watts.

Survivors are her son, Michael Wayne Burt and wife, Jennifer King Burt of McDonough, Georgia; sister, Mikki Allmand of New Orleans, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Amy Magee and husband, Jamie Magee of McDonough, Georgia and Holly Horwege and husband, Josh Horwege of Cumming, Georgia; five great-grandchildren, Dawson Magee, Addison Magee, Layla Horwege, Hollis Horwege and Ryder Horwege; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
