A Mass of Christian Burial will be said for Laura Yolanda Ybarra of Merigold Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Or Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland with burial in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.  Father Kent Bowlds will officiate. Pallbearers are Nicci Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Matthew Palacios, Brandon Pallacios, Paul Stadelbacher and David Palacios. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Bullock and Thomas Sewell. Ray Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland. A Rosary will immediately follow beginning at 7 p.m.

Ms. Ybarra, 29, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Bolivar Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1986, to Florencio Ybarra and Mary Palacios Ybarra.

She was a graduate of Cleveland High School in 2004, and went on to further her education by obtaining a degree in 2009 with studies in biology, chemistry and environmental sciences from Delta State University. Ms. Ybarra was always recognized by her beautiful smile. She enjoyed talking, watching movies, crafting, and singing. She loved the outdoors, cowboy boots, Rayban sunglasses, riding back roads, hunting and fishing.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Julian Palacios; and paternal grandmother, Berta Ibarra.

Survivors are her parents, Florencio Ybarra and Mary P. Ybarra of Merigold; paternal grandfather, Abdon Ibarra; brother, Luis A. Ybarra (Natalie) of Brookhaven; nieces, Finley and Ellie Brook Ybarra of Brookhaven; aunts and uncles, Janie Stadelbacher (Rick) of Cleveland, Jessie Palacios (Donna) of Cleveland, Paula Phillips (Jimmy) of Greenville, Martha Bullock (Steven) of Merigold, Juanita Ibarra Santa-Cruz (Miguel) of GTO, Mexico, Ignacio Ibarra (Cleotilde) of El Paso, Texas, Luis Ibarra (Hilaria) of Houston, Texas, Francisco Ibarra (Laura) of McAllen, Texas, Bertha Ibarra Padron (Juan) of Houston, Texas, Carmella Rodriguez (Jorge) of Kileen, Texas, Milagros Ibarra of GTO, Mexico, Jose Jeno Ibarra (America) of Mexico City, Mexico, Jose Eleno Ibarra (Lucy) of Houston, Texas, and Jose Regulo Ibarra (Lisa) of Houston, Texas; and numerous beloved cousins and extended family.
