Funeral services for Brenda Leggett Case were at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto with burial following in the Calvary Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Hal Hatten officiated the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Case, 65, died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was born on Nov. 9, 1950, in Brookhaven to Barney Franklin Leggett and Mildred Evon McCaffery Leggett. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William “Bill” Carson Case; son, William Shane Case; and brother, Jimmy Leggett.

Survivors are her son, Dr. Ryan Case and wife Wendi, of Brookhaven; grandchildren, R. Corey Case and Olivia Case; brother, Johnny Leggett and wife Frankie, of Bogue Chitto; longtime friend, Denis Dergelev, of Long Beach; and a host of nieces and nephews.
