Debbie and Donald Waldrop, of Bogue Chitto, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Christi Waldrop, of Bogue Chitto, to Clayton Russell, of Bogue Chitto.

He is the son of Anita and David Russell, of Bogue Chitto.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Hamilton and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Waldrop.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Myrtle Coney Lawson, of Bogue Chitto, the late Mr. Robert Lee Coney and Mr. and Mrs. Huey P. Russell, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center. She is a graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College where she received an associates of applied science degree in health information technology.

The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center. He received an associates of applied science degree in electronics engineering technology from Copiah-Lincoln Community College and in biomedical equipment repair technology from Pearl River Community College. He is currently employed with Biomedical Support Services.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Wellman Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the church.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
