Ted and Sally Gulley Milton and Frank and Lori Perkins announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Taylor Perkins to Tyler Christian Parvin.

He is the son of Rev. Kenneth Parvin Jr. and Sandra Parvin.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. George H. Gulley Jr., of Brookhaven, the late George H. Gulley Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. John B. Perkins, of Brookhaven.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Kenneth E. Parvin Sr., of Gulfport, the late Mr. Kenneth E. Parvin Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ryan.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Gulfport High School and Belhaven University where she received a bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse in the Neurological intensive care unit at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

The prospective groom in a graduate of Brookhaven Academy and Mississippi State University where he received a bachelor of science in kinesiology. He is employed as a teacher and head baseball coach at Brookhaven Academy.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

A reception will follow at the church. All friends and family are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
