West Lincoln Junior High cheerleaders recently attended an NCA camp. During camp, they received the following awards: Herkie Team Award, Stunt S.A.F.E. Award, Technical Excellence Award, Squad Credential Certificate, Excellent Ribbon for Chant and Superior Ribbon for Cheer.

Maggie Newman and Ainsley Griffin, members of the West Lincoln Junior High Cheer Team, are among the few cheerleaders earning a position on the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) 2016-2017 All-American Cheerleading Team. Newman is the daughter of Jamie and Jennifer Newman of Brookhaven. Griffin is the daughter of Clint and Jenni Griffin of Brookhaven.
