Funeral services for Joseph “Joe” Andrew Jackson, of Florence, are Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Visitation was Tuesday, July 26, 2016, and continues today from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Mr. Jackson, 86, died Saturday, July 23, 2016, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Mr. Jackson lived in the Florence area for 48 years and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. He was a Godly man that loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and his job at Sanderson Farms.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Joseph and Pinkie Bell Jackson; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Montez Wade Jackson, of Florence; son, Joseph “Andy” (Debbie) Jackson Jr., of Florence; daughters, Pamela Montez (Robert) Hobbs, of Baton Rouge, and Sheila Anne (Barry) Clink, of Tyler, Texas; five grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; brother, Prentiss (Frances) Jackson, of Florence; and sister, Lucille Johnson, of Tylertown.
