Funeral services for Boyd Duane Hudson, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at McBride Church in McBride with burial in McBride Cemetery. Rev. Randy Jones will officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from 6 to 10 p.m. and continues Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of services at McBride Church.

Mr. Hudson, 66, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at his residence. He was born Dec. 26, 1949, in Denver, Colorado, to Boyd Henry and Twyla Hunsucker Hudson.

He served for 10 years in the United States Army in Special OPS, and also served in the U.S. Finance Department. While serving in the U.S. Army, he received the National Defense Medal. He worked for 15 years at Mustang Well Service as an oil field drilling superintendent.  Mr. Hudson was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and brother, Terry Hudson.

Survivors are his wife, Cindy K. Mauch Hudson; daughters, Melissa Adams and Michelle Tyrone, of Brookhaven; sons, Tracy Hudson, Christopher Hudson and Michael Gibbons, all of Aurora, Colorado, and Julio Hudson of Panama; sister, Patty Hartman and husband, Larry, of Brookhaven; brother, Vincent Hudson and wife, Donna, of Arvada, Colorado; sister-in-law, Debbie Hudson; many grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
