Funeral services for Mary Anna Hennington Beall Grammer are Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson. Rev. Wayne Kimbrough will officiate.

Visitation is Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Grammer, 93, did Friday, July 29, 2016, at Country Meadow Personal Care Home in Greenwood. She was born on Aug. 3, 1922, in Copiah County to M. F. and Katie Lou McGinnis Hennington.

After graduating from Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Mississippi University for Women and Misssissippi College, she taught for 20 years at Wesson Elementary School. She was an active member of Wesson Baptist Church for 50 years and later Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood. Mrs. Grammer was a member of Brookhaven Daughter’s of the American Revolution.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Sam E. “Buddy” Beall and Rev. Kermit Grammer; grandson, Kevin Kimbrough; great-granddaughters, Autumn and Alexis Kimbrough; brother, Dr. Herbert Hennington; and sister-in-law, Jean Hennington.

Survivors are her son, Lee Beall and wife Kay of Willard, Missouri; daughter, Ann Beall Kimbrough and husband Wayne of Raymond; step-son, Gary Grammer and wife Debbie of Port Gibson; grandson, Kyle Kimbrough and wife Christy of Hattiesburg; and great-grandsons, Jesse and Sam Kimbrough.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 4644 Billy Stone Road, Greenwood, MS 38930 or Salem Baptist Church, 2666 Learned Road, Raymond, MS 39154.
