Arrest reports

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Monday were as follows:

•Willis r. King, 1-18-1960 — arrested for drivers license, DUI – second offense and no proof of liability insurance by the MHP.

•Steven H. Nichols, 1-29-1971, of 344 Sunny Trail — arrested for probation violation by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

•April Sibley, 5-1-1982, of 2840 Pleasant Grove Road, Ruith — arrested for no drivers license by the BPD.

•Willie C. Smith, 9-9-1939, of 2851 Beard Road, Wesson — arrested for felonious bad check by LCSO.

Note: An arrest does not constitute guilt for the accused. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

Corrections and clarifications:

An opinion column that published Tuesday incorrectly stated that Brookhaven Academy Head of School Jason Case was a former principal at Loyd Star Attendance Center. Case was the principal at West Lincoln Attendance Center. We regret the error and are happy to set the record straight.
