Funeral services for Venna Kay Jordan Britt, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mrs. Britt, 71, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016. She was born May 21, 1945.

Mrs. Britt was a Lincoln County School District teacher for over 48 years. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Pearlie A. Britt Jr.; and parents, Venable J. Jordan and C.T. and Pat Ebey.

Survivors are her children, Brad Britt and wife, Shannon, and Carol Bullock; one brother, Abe Ebey and wife, Jeanne; one sister, Tomma Moore and husband, Sam; five grandchildren, Sloan Bullock, Jordan Bullock, McKenna Bullock, Reagan Britt and Landon Britt; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
