Funeral services for Donald F. “Shot” Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, are Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at 2 p.m. Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Twin Oaks Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mr. Wallace, 89, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at his residence. He was born Feb. 15, 1927, to Elzy and Blanche Wallace.

He served in the United Stated Army during World War II. He was retired from Penrod Drilling Company and Wal-mart in McComb.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Shirley Wallace; parents; and brothers, Claiborne, Cleon, Calvin, Curtis, Hulon and Edwin Wallace.

Survivors are his daughters, Brenda Smith and husband, Kenneth, and Tammy Crosby and husband, Gary, all of Bogue Chitto; sister, Mavis Johnston, of McComb; two grandchildren, Amy Burt and husband, Duane, and Andrea Shannon and husband, Marcus; and three great-grandchildren, Brandon Burt, Layla Burt and Jacey Shannon.
