Funeral services for Raymond Fairchild, of Bogue Chitto, are incomplete. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Fairchild, 76, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at his residence. He was born March 20, 1940, to Jess Clark Fairchild and Sarah Elizabeth Carlisle.

He was a retired electrician at Brown Electric.

Preceding him in death were his parents and Eloise Brown; sister, Alice Rhoen Evans Taylor; brother, Bobby Wayne Fairchild; and nephew, Aaron Steckler.

Survivors are his sisters, Ruby Oakman, Juanita Johnston, Mary Hickman and Beverly Gulledge; brothers, James Fairchild and Bob Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
