Funeral services for James “Chuck” Monroe Britt Jr., of Brookhaven, are Tuesday,  Aug. 23, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mr. Britt, 59, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born Nov. 28, 1956, to James “Jim” Monroe Britt Sr. and Oris Lynelle Ferguson Britt.

Mr. Britt was an avid horseman and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his sons, Brad Britt and wife, Kristy, Jimmy D. Britt and Dewayne Smith; mother, Lynelle Britt; brother, Cody Britt and wife, Renee; sister, ReVae Raney and husband, Kelcy; four grandchildren, Reagan Britt, Austin Britt, Michala Britt and Scarlette Britt; and special friend, Mandy Hodges.

Memorials can be made to the American Juvenile Diabetes Association, 2424 Edenborn Ave., #660, Metairie, Louisiana, 70001.
