Funeral services for Curtis Barnes Jr., of Jayess, are Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Quinn Temple Church of God in Christ in Monticello with burial in Bethany Church Cemetery in Jayess. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary and will continue Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Mr. Barnes, 44, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. He was born June 14, 1972, in Monticello to Rev. Curtis Barnes Sr. and Jamie Bails Barnes.

Survivors are his parents.
