LaRue’s Drugs helps in time of need

My father, Richard Smith, fell on Saturday and hurt his knee pretty badly. He needed meds and equipment but his pharmacy was closed. The following is what my sister wrote on Facebook:

“Today, I witnessed something I haven’t seen in a long time. Daddy fell and hurt his knee today. He needed crutches and his medicines filled but it was after 5:00 on a Saturday. But that didn’t matter to LaRue’s Drugs. They met us after hours to help my daddy. You don’t get that kind of service from anywhere anymore. And then to top it off, sweet Brandon followed us home to help us get Daddy into the house. They went above and beyond any customer service I have ever seen. If only every business could take a page from LaRue’s Drugs this world would be a better place. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.”

If you guys ever highlight locally owned businesses or just want to celebrate good in this world, please consider writing about LaRue’s, Brandon Baker, and their dedication to not only serving their business to the fullest, but showing love to their customers. Acts like this prove to me that we DO live in a world where Jesus is alive.
