Charles “Eddy” and Cindy Boone Myers, of Smithdale, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, LeAnna Myers, of Smithdale, to Jonathan Blake “Trey” Gennaro, of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Emile and Paula M. Gennaro.

She is the granddaughter of A.D. Boone, of Summit, Nellie Yvonne Myers, of Smithdale, the late Lola Boone and the late Charles Myers Sr.

He is the grandson of the late William and Maxine McCrory, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and the late Emile and Lena Gennaro, of Independence, Louisiana.

The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she received a degree in business. She is currently employed with Farm Bureau.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is currently employed with the Brookhaven Fire Department.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, in a private ceremony. A reception will follow at Concord Baptist Church at 7 p.m.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the reception.
