Funeral services for Lizzie King Lambert, of Brookhaven, will be Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lambert, 86, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 25, 1930, to Hyram and Dixie King.

She is preceded in death by parents; her husband, JP Lambert; brothers, James King, Oliver King and William King; sisters, Lothie Tibbs and Ruby Williams; sons, Jimmy Lambert and Paul Lambert; daughter, Becky Lambert Rushing; and grandson, Jamie Rushing.

Survivors are her daughter, Diane Roberts and husband Roger; brother, Robert C. King; sister, Helen Brown; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
