A memorial service for James Ray Wisinger, of Monticello, formerly of McComb, will be Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Johnston Chapel United Methodist Church in Summit.

Mr. Wisinger, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at his residence. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Wisinger was born July 23, 1946, in Edgerly, Louisiana, to Jesse and Julia Wisinger.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers; Tommy and Rodney Wisinger.

Survivors are his son, Jim and wife Missy Wisinger of Bogue Chitto, and daughter, Dee Dee Gardiner and husband Greg, of Cary, North Carolina, grandchildren, Alexis Gardiner of West Hartford, Connecticut, and Kinley, Gage, Katy and Karly Wisinger of Bogue Chitto; his sisters, Rose Smith of Hampton, Virginia, Jeanine Redalan of San Antonio, Texas, and Peggy Davis of Houston, Texas; and the mother of his children, Barbara Case, of Brookhaven.

The family would like to thank Lawrence County Nursing Home and Paige Alford for the excellent care he received.
