Merle and Becky Bowman, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Brandon Scott Bowman, of Brookhaven, to Nicole Dawnyell Benz, of Saint Paul, Indiana.

She is the daughter of the late Jeffrey Allen Benz, of Connersville, Indiana, and Kimberly Ann (Gina) Buckles, of Saint Paul, Indiana.

She is the granddaughter of the late Joseph D. Benz, of Batesville, Indiana, Marion Klump Atkinson, of Florence, Kentucky, James Everett Ginn and Yvonne Darlene Ginn, of Laurel, Indiana.

He is grandson of the late Earnest and Audrey Nell Bowman, of Brookhaven, and the late Mack and Adaline Flynn, of Brookhaven.

The  bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of South Decatur High School in Westport, Indiana. She attended college at Indiana Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Indiana University — Purdue University in Columbus, Indiana. She is currently employed with Performance Contractors Inc.

The perspective groom is a 1998 graduate of Loyd Star High School and a 2000 honors graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he received an associate’s degree in Industrial Manufacturing Technology. He is currently employed with Chevron Corporation as a maintenance coordinator.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven. A reception will follow.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception. No local invitations will be sent.
