Bogue Chitto’s Nelson signs with Southwest Mississippi

Photo submitted/Bogue Chitto senior Terrah Nelson recently signed a softball scholarship with Southwest Mississippi Community College.  Nelson’s plans for college are to major in pre-medicine and enter the medical field in some aspect one day.  During her senior year, Nelson has been selected as Miss Bogue Chitto, the Wendy’s Heisman scholar, and the DAR Good Citizen.  She was also honored as a 2016 MHSAA fast-pitch and slow-pitch all star.  She is pictured with her parents, Gary and Kim Nelson of Bogue Chitto.  Also pictured with Terrah are her coaches, Scott and Denise Leggett, and principal, Jay Rayborn.
