Funeral services for Troy R. McBee Jr., of Bogue Chitto, are Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McBee, 76, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 29, 1940. He worked as an engineer for IC Railroad and served in the U.S. National Guard. He was a member of Navilla Baptist Church, Shriners in McComb, Mason Lodge and a graduate of Fernwood High School.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Troy R. McBee Sr. and Thelma Thornhill McBee, and a son, Chris Case.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy McBee; son, Jason Hedgepeth; daughter, Melinda Lanier and husband Mark; five grandchildren, Shaylee Hedgepeth, Becky Shaw and husband James, Ricky Lanier and wife, Kristy, Christopher Case and Josh Case; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
