Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a gas leak and turned off the meter at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday on Ole Brook Road. The also responded to a grass fire and extinguished the fire at 5:51 p.m. on Union Street Extension. They responded to a request for lifting assistance at 8:18 p.m. on Union Street.

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Tuesday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Tuesday.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Tuesday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Tuesday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a medical at 4:30 a.m. at Wesson Police Department on Monday. They also responded to a grass fire at 1:15 p.m. on Union Street Extension, and a two car MVC at 3:30 p.m. on Timberlanes/Anderson Road Intersection on Tuesday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to one vehicle accident with injuries at 1:19 a.m. Tuesday on I-55 South.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 17 calls Tuesday. Five were transfers, with four to Jackson and one to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical center. There were 12 emergency calls; 10 medical, with six in the city and four in the county; two MVAs in the county.
