Funeral services for Wiley Adams, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapel in Brookhaven. Rev. Dr. W. L. Johnson Sr. will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of services at the chapel.

Mr. Adams, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born Feb. 19, 1933, in Brookhaven to the late John Rufus Adams Sr. and Charity Lee Adams. He was a retired postal worker and AT&T employee. He served in the United States Army for two years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, John W. Adams; and sisters, Louella Parker and Willa Ruth Adams.

Survivors are his wife, Azzie Jackson Adams, of Brookhaven; daughters, Terri McInnis, of Nevada; Denise Gratham (Reginald), of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Wiley Adams Jr. (Lisa), S. Holland, of Illinois; sister, Lucretia Hardwick, of Chicago, Illinois; eight grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
