The Brookhaven tennis team defeated Wingfield Wednesday evening, winning all seven matches including singles and doubles play.

Daniel Panzica of Brookhaven defeated Charles Tornes of Wingfield in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in boys’ singles.

In the first boys’ doubles match, Will Moak and Hayden Waldon defeated Michael Babbitt and Kiante Davis of Wingfield in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. The second doubles match saw Cooper Patterson and Michael Haynes Hutson defeat Latiker Grayson Jayhorn Alexander of Wingfield in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.

In girls’ doubles, Mackenzie Jackson and Alice Anne Walker of Brookhaven took care of Kameryn Taylor and DeAsia Matthews of Wingfield in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

Lea Allen and Braxton Wallis of Brookhaven defeated James Robinson and Alexandria Jones of Wingfield in mixed doubles in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.

In the other boys’ singles match, Jonah Clark of Brookhaven defeated Anthony Davis of Wingfield in JV play 6-0, 6-0.

Wingfield forfeited girls’ singles and the second girls’ doubles match as Brookhaven took the 7-0 overall match win.
