Graveside services for Kendall Lane Rushing, of Brookhaven, are today, March 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rushing, 49, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at South Central Hospital in Laurel. He was born Sept. 17, 1967.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Shirley Jean Ezell Rushing; grandparents, Luther and Lula Rushing and Loyd and Virginia Ezell.

Survivors are his father, Donald Ray Rushing and stepmother, Lee Rushing; brother, Adam Rushing and wife Samantha; sisters, Angie Weeks and husband Wade and Kerri Cross and husband Mike; nephews, Thomas Weeks and wife Katy, Caleb Weeks, James Weeks, Easton Weeks, Hayden Rushing, Chad Whitten, and Pierson Whitten; and nieces, Emmy Rae Rushing, Scotlyn Whitten and Ainsley Whitten.
