Funeral services for Hollis Joseph “Trey” Cowen III, of Wesson, will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at noon at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial in the Wesson Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Robinson will officiate.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Cowen, 48, died with his loving family by his side Friday, March 10, 2017, at his residence. He was born June 26, 1968, in Brookhaven, to Hollis J. Cowen Jr. and Sonya White Cowen.

He completed a B.S. degree in business management from the University of Southern Mississippi. He owned businesses in Canton and Hazlehurst before retiring due to illness. He was a kind, caring and devoted son, brother and grandson. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to cook. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his father; and grandparents, Hollis J. Cowen Sr., Catherine White and N. B. White.

Survivors are his mother; sister, Katrina C. Smith and husband Lane of Flagstaff, Arizona; grandmother, Belle Cowen of Wesson; and a number of cousins and friends.

In lieu of lowers, memorials in his name may be made to Wesson Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 216, Wesson, MS 39191.
