Funeral services for Silas R. Lewis Sr., of Monticello, are Friday, March 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Monticello First Baptist Church with burial at Pearl River Valley Cemetery in Monticello. Rev. Larry Lenoir will officiate. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, March 16, 2017, from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home and also Friday, March 17, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Mr. Lewis, 85, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.
