Memorial services for Doletha Arnold Hudson, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Brookhaven, were Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. James M.B. Church in Brookhaven. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hudson, 55, died Friday, March 3, 2017, in St. Louis. She was born Dec. 31, 1961, in Brookhaven, to Ella Louise Arnold Ford. She was a 1979 graduate of Brookhaven High School.

Preceding her in death were her mother; grandmother, Geneva Webb; grandfather, Lee Willie Arnold; uncle, Robert Earl Arnold; step-grandfather, Secdonia Webb Sr.

Survivors are her son, Derrick Hudson of Prentiss; daughters, Stacy D. (Barry) Hudson-Kidd of Florida, and Latasha D. (Jermaine) McClennon of Florida; brothers, Anderson Trahan of St. Louis, Gregory Trahan of St. Louis, Rodney Trahan of Lansing, Michigan, and Eugene (Kim) Arnold of Brookhaven; sisters, Dorene Arnold Brown of St. Louis, Brenda Trahan (Bennie) Weathersby of St. Louis, Bessie Arnold (Delgardo) Ross of Newport News, Virginia, and Tonia Arnold Henry (Billy) Burks of Gainesville, Florida; step-father, Charles Ford of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Quentin Black, Aaron McGee, Micahia Hudson and Rishona Jones; aunt, Linda (Michael) Thrasher; uncles, Secdonia Webb Jr., Embry Webb and James E. Arnold of Brookhaven; special cousin, Vickie Arnold Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
