Co-Lin golf finishes third

The Co-Lin golf team rallied on day three of the Ron Marshall Spring Fling to finish in third place, the Wolves’ fifth top three finish this season.
The Wolves’ score progressively improved throughout the three-day tournament at Goosepond Golf Course. The Wolves shot a 307 in the opening round, followed by a 302, and capped off the tournament with a 295 that hoisted the team into the top three.
Brandon Blakney led the Wolves with a 220 (+4) tournament total. The impressive play landed Blakney All Tournament Honors as he finished third overall, just three strokes back from medaling. Matthew Scoville finished with a 227 total, Joseph Dendy shot a 230, Zach Smith posted a 231, and Jason Byrd rounded out the Wolves with a 242.
The Wolves are back on the course April 1-2 in the sixth MACJC Event of the season. Co-Lin will travel to Lion Hills Country Club in Columbus.
