Thelma Louise Gustafson, 85, of Brookhaven, died Monday, March 20, 2017, at her residence.

She was born July 5, 1932, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to Pearl Francis Tapp and Mildred Ellen Emerson Tapp. She was a member of the Crafters Guild of Slidell, and she liked reading, gardening, sewing and craft painting.

Survivors are her husband, Joseph William Gustafson with whom she celebrated 70 years of marriage on March 8, her son, Joseph William Gustafson Jr., of Brookhaven; daughters, Linda Hartman, of Pensacola, Florida, and Susan Irene Gonzales, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
