Funeral services for Grayson Loyd Philipp, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fair River Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, April 5, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He will lie in state Thursday, April 5, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Grayson Loyd Philipp, seven weeks old, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was born Feb. 10, 2017, to Andrew Loyd Philipp and Jessica Reed Philipp.

He was preceded in deathby his great-grandparents, Loyd Versie Calcote, William Glenn Reed, Loyd Mathis, Don Philipp and Faye Philipp.

He was survived by his parents; brother, Mason Calcote Philipp; great-grandparents, Ann Calcote, Arie “Ricki” Abbe, Bernice “Bee” Reed; grandparents, Charles Philipp, Lana Philipp, Bernie Reed, Loretta Reed, and a host of loving family and friends.

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in memory of Grayson to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital, 2500 N State St., Jackson, MS 39216.
