Memorial services for Glenn “Duane” Bracey, of Richland, are Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home Chapel in Florence.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2017, from 5 until time of service at the  funeral home.

Mr. Bracey, 53, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A native of Brookhaven, he was a honor graduate of Loyd Star High School, and received an associate’s degree from Southwest Mississippi Community College, and a computer science degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He worked at Mississippi Department of Correction as a computer analyst and was a member of Jackson First Assembly of God. He was a loving son, husband, father and “Babaw” to his grandchildren. He was an avid knife collector and loved his dogs, Flash, Si and Dandy. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Blackwell Bracey, of Richland; mother, Diane Keene Harris, of Brookhaven; father, and stepmother, Glenn and Pat Bracey, of Brookhaven; son, Justin (Ashley) Piner, of Richland; daughter, Keelie Piner, of Richland; grandchildren, Logan and Levi Piner; brother, Kevin (Felicia) Bracey, of Brookhaven; sister, Donna (David) Smith, of Brookhaven; several nieces and nephews that he adored and a host of friends.
