The Brookhaven Academy Baseball Cougars faced a tough task Tuesday evening as the district leading Columbia Academy Cougars came calling at Harold Williams Ballpark. As advertised, CA came out swinging on their way to a convincing 10-0 win.

After a scoreless first inning, Columbia got on track in the top of the second by posting seven runs on six hits and added another three runs in the top half of the fourth.

The Cougars threatened on multiple occasions with runners in scoring position, but couldn’t push runners across home plate.
