The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a brush fire at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday on Hwy. 51 North.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a two-vehicle accident at 12:11 a.m. Thursday on I-55. The accident resulted in one fatality. 

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 20 calls Thursday. Four were transfers to Jackson. There were 16 emergency calls; eight medical, with two in the city and six in the county; four traumas, with three in the city and one in the county; four MVAs, two in the city and two in the county.
