Funeral services for Connie Janelle Smith, of Wesson, will be Wednesday,  April 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, Missouri, with burial in the Mayfield Cemetery. Ron Lankford will officiate.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

A visitation was held Saturday, April 15, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven. Arrangements were made under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith, 73, died Friday, April, 14, 2017, at Diversicare Nursing Home in Brookhaven. She was born Aug. 22, 1943, to Lloyd Steve Sanny and Aletha Edna Sothman Sanny.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and enjoyed singing and attending church. She was a loving, caring mother and a devoted wife.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and her first husband, Gary Macy.

Survivors are her husband, Leonard Lamar Smith; sons, Vincent Stephen Macy and wife Adana, Phillip Lee Macy and wife Christy, and Wendell Smith and wife Sherry; daughters, Rachel Grace Macy Smith and husband Juan, Valorie Aletha Macy McKamie and husband David, Wanda Sue Moncrief and husband Jeff; brothers, Virgil Sanny and wife Sharon, Gary Sanny, Garland Sanny and wife Patsy; sister, Deloy Smith and husband Lawrence; 16 grandchildren, Ashlee Cosby, Tiffani Morris, Latasha Macy, McKenzie Macy, Garrett Macy, Jacob Macy, Elisabeth Macy, Callie Shirey, Lacey Jones, Hannah McKamie, Brock Smith, Zac Smith, Macy Grace Smith, Cassie and Bailee Moncrief, and Mason Smith; and four great-grandchildren.
