Mr. and Mrs. William David Scarbrough, of Meadville, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katherine Lee, to Austin Theodore McCormick of Meadville.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Edward McCormick of Union Church.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Robertson of Homochitto, and Mr. and Mrs. William M. Scarbrough of Meadville.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William P. McCormick of Union Church, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Jensen of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mrs. Ethel Jackson and the late Ted Jackson of Vidalia, Louisiana.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Franklin County High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. She currently teaches third grade at Enterprise Attendance Center in Brookhaven.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Mississippi State University. He is currently employed by Energy Access Solutions – EAS Resources in Vidalia.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Meadville United Methodist Church.  A reception for the couple will immediately follow at the home of the bride’s parents.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception.
