Mr. and Mrs. Jason Case of Brookhaven announced the engagement of their daughter, Julie Anne Case, to Andy Kendall Rives.

Rives is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raney and Karla Rives of Madison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alice and Jack Case of Bogue Chitto, and the late Jamie and Jean Byrd of Brookhaven.

Miss Case is a 2009 graduate of West Lincoln High School. She is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi College with a bachelor’s degree in math education and a 2016 graduate of MC with a master’s degree in math. She is currently employed by Rankin County Schools.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rives, Mrs. Ann Bordelon and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hudson.

Mr. Rives is a 2007 graduate of Madison-Central High School and a 2009 graduate of Holmes Community College. He is also a 2011 graduate of Mississippi College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is presently attending the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The couple will exchange vows Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the church. Family and friends are invited to attend.
