Private funeral services for Mary Chase Von Sprecken Wolff, of Brookhaven, will be held at a later date. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wolff, 89, died Sunday, April 23, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Augusta, Georgia, to John Henry Von Sprecken and Lucy Elizabeth Livingston Von Sprecken. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She was also a homemaker and former employee of King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Private services for Mrs. Wolff will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin J. Wolff; daughter, Mary Chase Cook; and two sisters.

Survivors are her sons, David A. Wolff, of Brookhaven, and Edwin J. “Jay” Wolff Jr., of Santa Monica, California; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
