Funeral services for Lillian Thames, of Monticello, are Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello with burial at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello. Bro. Talmadge Smith and Bro. Michael Smith will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017, from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Ms. Thames, 88, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Duncan, to Fletcher and Mittie Westbrook Huff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and husbands Hollis P. Williamson and Howard Thames.  

Survivors are her children Kathleen Petty, of Petal, Sue Coleman, of Ragland, Alabama, Hollis P. Williamson II, of Monticello, and Becky Puckett, of Madison.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
