Visitation for Richard “Dickie” Gaylor Arnold, of Brookhaven, will be today, May 9, 2017, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven.

Mr. Arnold, 78, died Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born Nov. 14, 1938, to Donald Craig Arnold and Minnie Sawyer Arnold. He worked for Georgia Pacific and was a member of First Baptist Brookhaven. He was an avid golfer and sports fan and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grand’s dearly.

Preceding him in death were his parents; spouse, Joyce C. Arnold and brother, Paul Arnold.

Survivors are his son, Ricky Arnold and wife Sandi, of Petal; daughters, Sarah Oberschmidt and husband, Dwayne; and Beth Evans and husband Jeff, all of Brookhaven; brother, Wallace Arnold, of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Sally Rector, of Brookhaven; five grandchildren, Aaron Oberschmidt and wife Jennifer, Emily O. Thompson and husband Tyler, Samantha A. Luckel and husband Gilbert, Ali Evans, and Sarah Grace Evans; and six great-grandchildren.
