The West Lincoln track team wrapped up their 2017 season during the 2A track meet over the weekend at Pearl High School.

Jonathan Mathis and Tiler Castillo were the two runners who qualified for the state meet in Pearl and performed well in the two events for the Running Bears.

In the 3200-meter race, Mathis finished fifth in the event with a time of 11 minutes and 21 seconds. Castillo also competed in the race and finished sixth with a time of 11 minutes and 23 seconds.

Mathis also competed in the 1600-meter race and finished seventh with a time of five minutes and 25 seconds.
