Joseph Ryan and Dawn Berry of Wesson announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brooke Ryan, to Trey Swaney.

He is the son of Richard and Amy Swaney of Bogue Chitto.

The bride-elect is granddaughter of the late Harold and Katherine Ryan, and the late John and Frances Hamilton.

Miss Ryan is a 2011 graduate of Wesson Attendance Center and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is also a 2016 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing and is employed by Blair E. Batson Hospital as a pediatric registered nurse.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Charles and Lavonne Brumfield, Chuck and Martha Swaney, and Catherine Stricklin.

He is a 2011 graduate of Brookhaven Academy and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is employed by Newk’s Eatery in Clinton as a manager. 

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 3 p.m. at The Jackson Place in Crystal Springs. A reception will follow.
