Fishing remains fair in the area

Lake Lincoln State Park

Bass fishing is fair on spinnerbaits, flukes and soft plastics, worms and lizards in shallow and medium depths.

Bream fishing has been good while they were bedding. Crickets and worms are the best baits.

Crappie fishing is fair. Try trolling or spider rigging in eight inches of water. Minnows and jigs are both working well.

Catfish are being caught in fair numbers. Fishing around the island should produce some fish. Worms or cutbait fished on the bottom are the baits of choice.

Lake Mary Crawford

Bass fishing is fair. Black or junebug colored worms are the best lures right now. Target shallow and medium depths.

Bream fishing is good. One angler caught 26 one day and 24 the next on crickets and worms. Try redworms fished on the bottom for Redear Sunfish.

Crappie fishing is slow. Try minnows and jigs in eight to 10 feet of water.

Catfishing is fair. Try cutbait, worms or commercial catfish bait on the bottom.

Percy Quin State Park

Bass fishing is fair. Try fishing in about four feet of water around the banks. Worms and crickets are working the best.

Bream fishing is fair. Try fishing in about four feet of water around the banks. Worms and crickets are working the best.

Crappie fishing is slow. Fisherman trolling in five to nine feet of water are having some success with minnows and jigs.

The catfish bite is good currently. Fish on the bottom with your favorite catfish bait.
