Dean and Renae Lofton announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Taylor Nicole Lofton, of Brookhaven, to Chance Holden.

He is the son of Chip and Kathy Holden of Richland and Bubba and Mary Dooley of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Alecia Lofton. She is the granddaughter of Gloria Lofton and the late Dalton Lofton of Brookhaven, Jimmy and Cheryl Ann Mitchell of Brookhaven, Donna Nations of Brookhaven, and Jerry Joe and Shirley Brent of Bogue Chitto.

Miss Lofton is a 2012 graduate of West Lincoln High School, and a 2014 and 2017 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College with an associate’s degree in nursing.

The prospective groom is the grandson of George and Kathy Holden of Pearl, and Gary and Sally Schutz of Brookhaven, and the late Phillip Lance Roberson Sr.

Mr. Holden is a 2012 graduate of Loyd Star High School, and a 2014 and 2016 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College with a degree in automation and control. He is employed as a maintenance technician at Nisson North America in Canton.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 6 p.m. at Johnson Grove Church of Christ.

A reception will follow at Old Wesson School.
