3 Delta men sentenced in 2015 fatal drive-by shooting

GREENWOOD (AP) — Three men have been sentenced in a fatal drive-by shooting.

The Greenwood Commonwealth reports Judge Ashley Hines sentenced Armand Jones on Thursday to life in prison for the April 2015 death of D’Alandis Love. Hines also sentenced co-defendants Sedrick Buchanan and James McClung each to 20-year maximum sentences on aggravated assault convictions. Co-defendant Michael Holland awaits sentencing on convictions including second-degree murder.

Jones was found guilty in May of fist-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder against Perez Love, Kennoris Stigler and Kelsey Jennings. Hines additionally sentenced Jones to 30 years for each attempted murder charge.

D’Alandis Love was killed while Perez Love and Stigler were injured when passengers of a passing car fired shots at their vehicle, which caught fire after landing in an off-road ditch.
