Funeral services for Gladys Faye Tillman, of Jackson, are Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Springhill United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tillman, 68, died Saturday, June 17, 2017, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 25, 1948, to the late Rev. Lonnie V. Nations and Myrtle L. Nations.

She was a member of Springhill United Pentecostal Church. She was a great artist, loved to read and had a beautiful voice.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Zelle Sanders; sister, Nell Castillo; brother, Sammy Bates; and father-in-law Leon Tillman.

Survivors are her husband, James Tillman; children, Mike and Liz Jackson, of Brookhaven, Darlene Jackson, of Georgetown, Texas, Ann Gill, of Smithdale, Sherry Bessonette and husband, Steve, Rick Tillman, of Hazlehurst, JoAnn Case and husband Keith, of Wesson, Richard Tillman and wife, Tonya of Hazlehurst, Ronnie Tillman and wife Lillian, Tracy Higginbotham and husband Rod, of Hazlehurst; brother, Rev. James F. Nations and wife Peggy and sister Lee Morgan of Smithville, Texas; and 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
