Prizes were also awarded for closest to the pin on all four par-3 holes at Wolf Hollow. Paule Ruiter, Donnie Sasser, Jason Byrd and George Hennington claimed each of these titles.

Foundation Executive Director D.J. Preiss had nothing but praise for the successful event.

“I want to sincerely thank all our participants for their support for our tournament,” Preiss said. “For 24 years, we have been able to count on our corporate and community sponsors to make this event such a success. We will be able to put the money raised directly toward support of the college and its programs. This event would not have been possible without the hard work of many staff members from across various areas of campus, which helped create an atmosphere of fun and fellowship for our tournament participants. Ronny Ross and his staff always do a phenomenal job providing such an outstanding venue for our annual tournament, and we are fortunate to have the caliber of facilities like Wolf Hollow as a resource.”

Twenty-three teams participated in the event this year to help raise funds for the Copiah-Lincoln Foundation. The Co-Lin Foundation provides over $225,000 in scholarships to over 150 students and faculty.
