Funeral services for Cody Alan Newell, of Bogue Chitto, will be held at a later date.

Mr. Newell, 25, died Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was born on Aug. 20, 1991, in Natchez, to Chris Newell and Chasity Goodman Newell. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers and street bikes, lifting weights, any and all music, and spending time with caring family and friends.

Survivors are his wife of two years, Jamie Newell; stepdaughters, Jaydin Alyse Chappell and Paytin Alisabeth Chappell; parents, Chris Newell, and Chasity Aldridge and husband Bobby; sisters, Becca Taylor Latham, Britley Newell, and Jennifer Coon; family by marriage, Amanda and Jamey Mabry, Charles and Susan Cupit, Jessica Magee, and Josh Coon; and a host of other family and friends.
